What is a Cakewalk?
As music plays, everyone walks on numbered squares or circles, stepping from one to another. As soon as the music stops, everyone stands on the number they're closest to. The MC draws a number, reads it out loud, and the one standing on the number gets a cake!
Bring a cake!
Donate a cake, or... if you're a fabulous baker, bake one up and decorate it in fun Fall Festival colors! We'll take photos for the RFHF Facebook page.
Please bring your cake in a disposable dish, plate, or carton.
Take your cakes to Jerry's Flowers & Things (Jerry Kintzler, 307-856-4444) before or on the day of the festival so they can be refrigerated before the Cake Walk.
All funds raised through the Riverton Fall Harvest Festival's activities and events go towards the
beautification, preservation and revitalization projects of the Riverton Downtowners Main Street Alliance.
